As seems to be the cycle. In the meantime, this country sinks further and further... Despite everything, I believe that people are really good at heart. - Anne Frank How'd that work out for Anne? Oh, yeah... 18 And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas: 19 (Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.) 20 Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them. 21 But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. 22 And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go. 23 And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed. 24 And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required. 25 And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will. - Luke 23, KJVHB You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time. - Abraham Lincoln You don't have to fool all of the people if enough of the people are fools. - Skeptic DDSOS...

Can't argue much with all of that, Skeptic.
As with the Obama naysayers, I am expecting miracles in 60 days!

A wise man once told me when I expressed dismay over an election...."Remember they are just temporary employees"

I posted that chart on FB. So did Xela. I am hearing comments now that such actions are hateful. I didn't know about Palin's "hit list" prior to the shootings. When I found out, I was filled with rage. Do I think her intent was to have some whacko shoot a congress woman and a bunch of other people? No, I don't. But what was her intent? Was she trying to be funny? When is it EVER funny to put target marks over states and then NAME those she is targeting? She's the cowardly aerial hunter....is this just more sport for her? She took it down damn fast after the shootings. We, unfortunately, live in a world full of whackos. Why take a chance and display anything like that where some nut MIGHT find encouragement? Palin's involvement in the political world should mean she is fully aware of the whackos.... She's so totally irresponsible and thoughtless. That's the nicest thing I can find to say about the airheaded bitch.

And by the way....
I can be angry about this AND still pray for the victims. That's just a note for the FC lurkers after reading some of their comments.

I'm feeling very sad for all the victims, but the loss of that sweet little child is breaking my heart....

She's broken my heart too. I listened to an interview with her mom, and she spoke out about all the hate filled rhetoric too.
I guess she knows firsthand what can happen from such irresponsible words.

Is this what is meant by "unintended consequences"?

Maybe they think of her as collateral damage.
Dammit, look at her eyes. She had so much to live for, so much promise.
