I have a system called free to air satellite. On this system I can watch channels from all over the world legally for free. As funny as it would seem I get more unbiased news from the English Al Jazeera and BBC than I do anywhere in America. I quit watching American news years ago because of the slants. I want to see the news, not be told how to think.

I am not sure what you mean by "unbiased"...I know what the word means, I just don't understand how you know that the English Al Jazeera and BBC is not biased? I don't believe for a minute that Al Jazeera is not "slanted." I think people often mean, when they say "unbiased" they really are saying that they agree with what they are hearing.

You know what I don't believe except for maybe fox that any of these news outlets have this big agenda. The few reporters I have met and known believe in reporting the news with out there personal beliefs coming into play. But most news outlets depend on advertisers. So reporters are often given angles to report on. Which brings in viewers and make advertisers pay larger fees. When the facts are reported and only the facts who is going to pay attention? Who is going to advertise if the no one watches these programs? Who are going to pay the huge salaries if they don't get big buck advertising? It is all about the money and the stories will be slanted in a way that brings these news outlets money. It isn't about us at all or about politics or any other reason then the money they make. Who are we to complain we made the system this way.
