You know it is a private school and they do not by law have to follow the rules public schools must follow. It statements like this "People who understand the Catholic teaching will understand why the decision was made," Fabien Ardila told KMGH after Mass this past Sunday." only show how stupid bigots are. When there is a whole group of Catholic parishioners in front of the church. Besides I feel I understand my church very well and do not believe this is in line with our teachings. You do not punish child for the parents sin and there is no other way to look at it. No matter what they say when you read all of their words that it what they are doing and it is against the teachings of the church.

It would only be understandable if they kicked out all the children of adulterers, tax cheats, gluttons, liars....obviously ridiculous. Unfortunately, now that the leadership has drawn the line in the sand, it is unlikely that the decision will be reversed, because that would make it look like the parishioners were "winning", and as you know, it's not a democracy.
