My Aunt has bone cancer. It is late stage and there is no treatment. She has been in the hospital and on hospice for the last few weeks. She has been in and out of a coma and it was getting down to the last few days. They were transferring her to the nursing home part of the hospital she is in basically to let her die.
Last week she came around for a bit and told her daughter she had seen her Mother and Jesus.
My cousin spent the night with her on Sunday night and got up around 5 and left the hospital for a bit. My Aunt was still in a coma when she left. Her and my other cousin went back to the hospital around 8 to be there when they moved her and when they walked in the room, she was sitting up in the bed asking for water. She also said she was hungry and wanted a breakfast tray!
She told my cousins that her mother took her to see Jesus, and he was beautiful. She spent some time with him and then her told her she could go back now and that he would call her when he was ready for her.
My cousins said they could have just passed out from the shock! They told my Aunt she was going to be transferred to the nursing home and she said that was fine, she would need the care until she could take care of herself again.
She also told her other children ( her sons) remember the pack you made with God when I was out? You said you would stop smoking if I didn't die? Well, stop smoking!
Crazy stuff!

You have no idea how much comfort this story brings to me, Brenda. Thank you for sharing it and I will keep your aunt in my prayers. And as I think about it, how wonderful this was for her. It's probably erased any fears she has of leaving this world to enter another one and she still has time here with her family. She's very blessed.

It's pretty amazing, I'm glad to share it with everyone.
My cousin said that my aunt told all her children that she loved them. First time ever. They always knew, she just never said it before.

Miracles come in all sizes sometimes as small and simple as a smile you were not expecting and needed. Then there are those big ones that just boggle the mind and make you know even deeper in your heart that no matter how bad it may get there is a place where a beautiful Father and son await us.
