Well, tonight has been rather unnerving. My son and his girlfriend came home in separate vehicles. She was about 7 minutes behind my son. He came in the house, then she's calling him from her cell phone to say there was some weirdo outside of our house that came up to her car and asked her if she lived here. And she told him yes. Then he split up the front yard between our house & the neighbors. Come to find out she had seen him walking on our street Saturday around 6:30PM and then he went int he same direction, right between the two houses and vanished. There are dense woods behind us. I called the cops, they were here in a bout 2 minutes, asked the kids a few questions on this guys description and then searched the area----found nothing, of course, because this scumbag can hide in dense woods from a couple of flashlights. Anyway, turns out my husband and my son and our neighbor all saw this freak walking around on our street today around 3PM today and didn't think anything of it. He's a brazen SOB and like I told the cop, when he comes on my property and especially when he questions my soon to be daughter-in-law, he's crossed the line. He's a white male, approx 30-40 yrs old, wearing a black tee shirt and black jean shorts and FRIZZY blonde hair. All of my neighbors are now on alert, and this guy will wish he never stalked our street if he shows his face again. Tonya

It's unbelievable how many freaks are out there.
If something like this happens and you can keep your cool...get a thorough description...from the head down.....and try and notice outstanding features like tattoos and even the shoes they are wearing.
If they leave, pay close attn to the direction of travel and to the time this is happening.
If they are in a car.....thorough description, DOT....and tag # if possible.
Don't wait two hours to call after you have mulled it over.
Not a bad idea to carry mace or pepper spray either.

The HHPD was here in about 5 minutes the FIRST time we called them which was a little after 6:30 last night. The officer came in and talked to me and the kids and left to do a search of our street and the dirt road behind us. Called me to tell me he saw nothing but not to hesitate to call 911 if we saw this jerk again. I contacted 4 other neighbors by phone to alert them. I got a call from one of them @ about 9PM that some guy was up at the end of the street, fit the description EXCEPT he had short hair & was wearing glasses. I told my neighbor it must not be him. Then a second neighbor calls me at 10:45PM to tell me this same guy with glasses is pacing back and forth at the end of the street- almost 2 hrs later. I advised her to immediately call the police & I did as well. Two cop cars here in about 1 minute but couldn't find the freak. It wouldn't be too hard to take off a wig and put on a pair of glasses.....ny own guess. No sign of him today and I know at this point he knows he's the one being watched and we don't play these games on this street. Three of my neighbors have permits for guns and will use them if need be. Another neighbor has 2 of the most lovable pit bulls you can imagine unless they give them the attack command. We watch out for each other on our street and I am very grateful of how quickly HHPD responded to this situation. Either this asshole moves on or he's gonna find himself in jail. Our posse has formed. Tonya

If Holly Hill won't do anything about it...call V.C.S.O. & tell them to send a Deputy Sherrif out & explain your P.D> won't do anything about it...guarentee the S.O. will!!! The HHPD is dispatched by the VCSO...as well as Daytona, Daytona Beach, South Daytona, Oak Hill, Port Orange, Deltona, Deland and Debary.

Like I said....weirdo's everywhere.......
Police: Burglar views porn in girls' room
By LYDA LONGA Staff Writer Surveillance cameras rigged up at a South Daytona house did not discourage a crack-smoking burglar in his underwear from crawling inside a bedroom of the residence, popping a pornographic DVD in a TV and watching the film while 11-year-old twin sisters slept nearby, police said Monday.
As he watched his movie, the man, identified as 30-year-old Kervin Juste of East Massapequa, N.Y., reached over and massaged one of the twins on the back.
"I've never seen anything like this," said South Daytona police Lt. Ron Wright.
About an hour after Wright released information on Juste, who was visiting friends in South Daytona, detectives arrested the suspect after he confessed to entering an Aspen Drive home.
Juste told investigators he got drunk and high on crack at a party in a Red Cedar Circle home, just a few blocks away.
"The girls feel better today now that they know he's been arrested," the girls' father said Monday afternoon. His name is being withheld to protect the identity of his daughters. "I don't know how people act when they're on crack, but this is just crazy."
The ordeal was peculiar at best, police said.
It was about 5 a.m. Sunday and the Aspen Drive residents were asleep.
While the rest of the neighborhood also slept, Juste roamed the streets in his boxer shorts, perhaps looking for a place where he could watch his movie, police said.
"He had been watching the movie at the house where he was staying," Wright said. "But then he turned it off and decided to walk around. Who knows what the mind frame was?"
With his crack pipe and salacious movie in hand, Juste randomly chose the house, police said.
The suspect, however, had no idea his every move would be taped.
Photographs taken of Juste with the surveillance equipment show the suspect walking around the exterior of the house and attempting to open the front door. At one point, Juste even stares into the camera.
The father said he installed the cameras after he and some of his neighbors suffered a spate of mailbox vandalism.
According to the police report, Juste removed the screen in the girls' bedroom window and climbed in. When he noticed the children, he locked the bedroom door. He slid the disc into the girls' DVD player and began watching the movie. Minutes into the film, Juste pulled out his crack pipe and set it on the sisters' dresser. He then reached over and began massaging one of the twins on the back.
When the child realized what was happening, she screamed, "Daddy!" Seconds later her sibling woke up and started yelling as well.
The girls bolted for the door, but struggled with the knob for a few seconds because it was locked. Juste, meanwhile, scrambled for the window and disappeared, police said.
But Monday, the suspect had a change of heart, Wright said.
"He came to the station and confessed," Wright said.
Charged with burglary to an occupied dwelling, battery and false imprisonment, Juste was taken to the Volusia County Branch Jail and held on $6,500 bail Monday night.
