You read that right: there's a HUGE party TODAY at Babe's Blue Room!
The depressing part:
It's a benefit for Bob Walker, a regular patron / pool league organizer / great friend to anyone who has met him (including me). Bob recently went through chemo and radiation to treat his cancer, but alas, it has returned. Long story short, Bob doesn't have long to live.
The fun part:
Oh God, let's see if I can remember this after a few brews: $1 raffle tickets for small prizes, $10 raffle tickets for BIG prizes, $5 plates (of food), $10 pool tournament, great food, great music, and, um, more!
Babe's Blue Room is on Nova Rd. in Ormond Beach, 1/3 mile south of Granada (SR-40).
Now I know you're thinking: you've already got plans for today. but I'd be willing to bet that, for most of you, can be put off for just a little while.
The fun starts at noon. Be there or be square!!!
