Kudos to Daytona for catching the punks, HOWEVER, they should have notified Holly Hill. Just remember this Phoenix, when you create friction by intruding on another jurisdiction's turf, don't look to them for help when it goes the other way around. Daytona violated code. Tonya

Tonya I don't blame Daytona for not notifying HOLLY HILLS Detectives...They'd of only SCREWED IT UP. The BOTTOM LINE is the CRIMINALS were caught! Nah, Phoenix, the bottom line is YOU HAVE ISSUES WITH HOLLY HILL. What's wrong, did one of their cops ruin your playtime in a public restroom? Tonya

I don't know about Florida law but in Georgia if an agency made an arrest outside their jurisdiction the defense attorneys had a ball getting it thrown out of court because the out of jurisdiction officer had no arrest powers.

Sorry Phoenix, I was unaware of that. When did it happen? TonyaOh jeez a long time ago...arond '91 or '92 and as far as he knows-they never did catch the killer...but they also contaminated the Crime Scene...so a KILLER remains free. That is sad, but who knows, maybe the asshole is dead or behind bars now. Anyway, that was a long time ago and I belive the HHPD is more professional now. I have never had problems when I've called them because of neighborhood issues. Their response time and professionalism has been impressive. This has been in the past 7 years, so, again, I believe they are better now. Tonya

I have to hold my ground on the speed limit. I used to do 5-7 MPH over just because I thought it was okay. BUT IT ISN'T! The speed limits are set for a reason and 25MPH on 8th Street, Daytona Avenue and Riverside Drive is fine with me. Also on LPGA between Nova & Jimmy Ann Drive, some people think if they tailgate you you are going to speed up. NOT ME!! It's like this.............I'm doing the speed limit and if you don't like it, too bad! There's been a couple times I moved over a little to the center of the 2way so if they dare pass me they'll find a tree. Tonya

Clyde Morris is a joke between Mason and ISB. No center turn lanes to get out of the way of flowing traffic. Daytona has had plenty of time to fix this problem, and it will just get worse when school starts again. THIS is why the pattern of movement for businesses and medical offices is to the north on the LPGA area between Jimmy Ann and I-95,and from what I understand Mason Avenue will soon loop around to LPGA.
