So from what I understand 4 plead guilty to escape the death penalty. The 5th, whom I still can't understand is treated differently, has yet to state his plea.
Life in prison will be their maximum sentence.
I've thought long and hard about this, and if...IF.............I were the parent of one of the murderers, I would pray for quick and over. That means the death penalty, and the sooner the better, so they can move on to a better place instead of rotting in prison. That would be my wish.
This, of course, is just my personal opinion and feel free to comment on this topic.....whether you agree or disagree.....

Sick little bastards.
Some people blame movies for this kind of behavior, some blame TV, some blame video games. I blame the parents.

Exactly. Everyone comments on how polite my 13 year old is. I have one standard answer, she's raised the old fashion way.

I've never raised a child, but I've given it a lot of thought.
It has to be extremely difficult to raise a child in this day and age. It's so damn different from when we were kids, and when our parents were kids.

I think we decided on that earlier Tonya, because a maggot turd isn't a "life" of any kind that we would be insulting.......

Not picking an argument, but I kinda figured these guys might end up in hell. Just edited to say that if I were one of their parents, I would be so heart-broken, I think I would just cease to exist.

Alrighty then! This guy must definitely be mentally impaired.
I think we're blending threads here, though. Maybe Calc can move these last few posts to the appropriate thread, just to avoid confusion on 2 separate topics.
(No pressure Calc, I know you're working on the light display for the forum.) ;D

Tonya,
Could you really wish for that?
Even if my sons did something horrific like this.........I don't think I could ever choose death for them.
I don't even know if I would have the strength I would need to pull the plug on life support. I would count on friends and family to remind me then, that I have said I would never want a loved one to live in a vegetative state.......
I just don't think I could choose the death penalty for one of my sons, no matter what the circumstance.

Barb Yes, I do mean that IF one of my sons beat a human being to death like that, it would be time for them to leave....and I'm not talking about prison. Vicious is putting it mildly to describe what they did to him. In my opinion, there's no turning back once someone does something like that. It's time for them to go, even IF it were one of my sons. . Tonya
