"That's the same group that marched in Toledo, Ohio last October, launching violent protests from residents. Officers there arrested more than 100 of the counter-demonstrators.
Orlando police said they don't want that to happen here. The chief and other community leaders have asked residents to stay home on Saturday instead of coming out into the streets.
Police have riot gear ready and have asked for extra officers from the Orange and Osceola county sheriff's offices to be on hand. There will also be command centers set up and even a special booking center out on the street to handle any arrests.
Orlando police had a special briefing Friday morning to prepare for Saturday's event. They're hoping it's a non-event and that all of the plans aren't needed.
We don't need this crap. Too bad it's not illegal, should be some law against it.
