I hate bing. I feel your pain. I think, depending on your OS version, you should be able to go to click on tools, then internet options, and under general, there is a tab for SEARCh, and you can click on that and change your default back.
Once you do that, you may be able to go to View, then toolbars, and disable the stupid bing one.
If that doesn't work, then I hope one of the 'puter Gurus here jump in.
I am so sick of bing trying to pirate me away from Google.

Try This. Right click an empty area on the toolbar area and uncheck lock the toolbars, then right click again and uncheck the bing toolbar

I think I know the problem...I never use Internet Explorer, therfore all my settings are the defaults...I think your homepage is set to MSN.com and MSN automatically has the Bing search bar at the top.
Do you prefer MSN or would you be happy to have a different homepage? Changing the homepage is easy!!
1. While in IE, go to the page you would like to be your home page 2. press ALT+X 3. Choose "Internet Options" from the menu that appears at the upper right corner of the screen 4. Under the HomePage Section on the "General" tab, press the button that says "Use current" 5. At the bottom of the box, select "OK"
