In my thoughts how I'm fed up with the current state of the government I come to something that honestly has me confused.
Attorneys are part of the judicial branch. Congress, Senate state legislators are part of the executive branch. I was always led to believe the judicial branch and executive were 2 separate entities so how can they mix by electing lawyers to political office?

The legislative branch makes laws....who is supposed to know about laws??? At least, they should know how not to make stupid laws that would not hold up under Constitutional review. Of course, like in all walks of life.......

Which leads to lawyers making lawyer friendly laws. We have a situation down here a guy named Alvin Green. The democratic establishment is scratching their heads how did this guy afford the $10,400 filing fee but even more he won with 59% of the vote. They just can't accept people are turning away from name brand politicians.
But the main thing I am hearing around here is how did he win with no money, no adds, no signs, etc as if how dare you win an election without spending a fortune and kissing the right butts.
