United they will stand. Sadly enough, someone is stalking them. Their lifestyle is not one that I necessarily condone, but when somebody's picking them off like this, I'm on their side right now.

I like the idea of a squad of crime-fighting prostitutes.
In the pilot episode, they crack the case of the hooker-murderer, and do such a good job, they turn their attention to solving other crimes which have baffled local police.
Between tricks, they do some amazing sleuthing, and tension is created in their relationship with the cops, who alternately bust them and seek their assistance.
Any ideas on casting this series?

Well have to have the greatest hooker police woman of all time at least for a cameo Angie Dickinson.

The serial killer wouldn't be one of those Boys, would he, could he? Nah........... TonyaPerhaps a police impostor ?? TonyaMarch 21, 2006 Despite leads, police say they're still searching for killer DAYTONA BEACH -- Investigators say they've collected evidence from several "persons of interest" in connection with the unsolved murders of three women believed to be the work of a serial killer. But Daytona Beach police Capt. Brian Skipper declined Monday to describe the material or whether it was provided to police by people who are suspects in the case, or someone who is close to them. A local woman told The Daytona Beach News-Journal on Monday that she had spoken to the lead detective in the case and provided that investigator with DNA evidence belonging to her ex-husband. "The investigators asked me very specific questions about my ex-husband, but I can't say what the questions were because it could compromise the case," said the woman, whose name is being kept confidential so her ex-husband will not be identified. "They asked me if I had DNA evidence and I brought it to them. They said it would be a few weeks before they could tell me anything." Though police are working several leads in the murders of Laquetta Gunther, 45, Julie Green 34, and Iwana Patton, 35, Skipper said no solid suspects have emerged thus far. He also confirmed Daytona Beach detectives have spoken to authorities in Union County, N.C., concerning the murder of three prostitutes there since 1995, but quickly discounted any connection after the killer was arrested March 9. While all three of the North Carolina women had been shot just like the victims here, Skipper said, "there were not enough similarities in the cases to connect them." In the North Carolina cases, at least one of the three women killed -- the one found Feb. 9 -- had been decapitated. Skipper would not comment on whether any of the women here had been mutilated in any way. Friends and acquaintances of Gunther, Green and Patton, said the three had worked as prostitutes and had their regular customers in the Ridgewood Avenue corridor, where most streetwalkers congregate. Monday afternoon, one prostitute named Jo Lynn Alderman, said she thinks the killer could be a former police officer. The admitted crack addict said a handful of former cops frequent the area.
"They're the ones that come out here and try to gain your trust," Alderman said. Anyone with information about the murders can call the Police Department tip line at (386) 671-8477 or Crime Stoppers at (888) 277-TIPS (8477). The organization is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect. Tonya-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The News-Journal considers an Admitted Crack Addict a "Reputable Source" for this story??? She did not even have to talk to the press BUT she did. Takes a strong person to come forward and speak in her situation. Tonya

The News-Journal considers an Admitted Crack Addict a "Reputable Source" for this story?? Phoenix, why do you equate crack addiction with dishonesty?

No, seriously. Is a crack addict more likely to lie than to tell the truth, particularly about a crime spree which threatens her life and livelihood? Is there something about addictive personality which lends oneself to speaking untruths?
