I find it amazing that just "cloud cover" will delay a launch. These are sophisticated, expensive vehicles we're talking about. You mean to tell me a few clouds will scrub the liftoff? I just find it a little funny....

They scrubbed it because of an aux. power unit failure, but they've scrubbed for clouds before. Depends on the clouds. Cirrus clouds, no problem. Nimbus clouds, not so much. Winds can get nasty in those things.

I just find it a little funny.... Its in case of an abort, there can't be too many clouds if they have to make an emergency landing at the cape.
